By Car
We are just 1 kilometer away from road E45 (Europaväg 45), the main road connecting the towns of Sveg and Östersund.
Upon reaching the road sign pointing to Vildmarks Lodge, you will turn off the E45 onto a forest road leading directly to Vildmarks Lodge. This road is accessible all year.

By Airplane
Sweden's main airport, Stockholm Arlanda is located on a 4,5 hour scenic drive from Vildmarks Lodge.
The nearest airport is the Härjedalen airport in Sveg. Domestic flights to and from Arlanda airport are available twice a day with Jonair.
In the Winter months (December-March), Scandinavian Mountains Airport facilitates flights to and from several Domestic and European destinations. (2,5 hours by car)
By Train
During the summer, the inlandsbana trainjourney leads through Sveg. An amazing opportunity to see a part of Sweden by rail.
Alternatively, when you are traveling from souther sweden or Stockholm, take the national train to Ljusdal and rent a car from there.
By Bus
There is a direct busconnection between Stockholm Arlanda airport and Härjedalen. Make sure you reserve your seat, sit back, relax and enjoy all the stunning views along the way.
Exit at Sveg or Ljusdal for the most optimal connection to rental cars, or switch at Älvros to a local bus to travel all the way to the Krokströmmen busstop.
Rent a car
Depending on where you travel from it is possible to rent a car from Sveg, Ljusdal or either airport you are traveling from.
Recommended rental companies are Hertz, Europcar, Alamo or Enterprise.
When traveling in wintertime, make sure you mention driving to the North, so they can provide you with Dubbdäck (spiked tires that make driving in winter conditions a lot easier!)
